New NTS8T Trigger Tool for concrete.
January 19, 2026Nitroset Gated Clips bring a new level of flexibility to overhead fastening by solving a problem every contractor and stockroom knows too well: once a wire is tied to a traditional pin and clip assembly, it is basically permanent. If the layout changes, the wire length is wrong, or the shot lands an inch off, you are cutting it off and tossing material.
Gabled Clips change that.
Each Gated Clip uses a spring-loaded gate that works like a carabiner. It lets you quickly connect or disconnect pre-tied ceiling wire, double-tie wire, cable tie, or other hanging components without cutting anything. That means adjustments are faster, rework is cleaner, and waste drops immediately. If you fasten a pin in the wrong location, you can simply remove the wire, reposition, and keep moving.
The system is designed as a modular three-part assembly:
- Nitroset Pin (selected for the substrate and application)
- Nitroset Gated Clip (the reusable connection point)
- Wire or cable (pre-tied wire, double-tie, cable tie, and more)
To support real jobsite demand, Gabled Clips are built around a top-hat interface that is ready to receive a variety of Nitroset Pins for direct fastening into tough structural concrete. The result is a clip that becomes a standardized attachment point, while the pin and wire can be selected based on the exact job.
Why we built them: jobsite flexibility and smarter inventory
Gabled Clips are not just about convenience, they are about control. For installers, the ability to disconnect and reuse pre-tied wire means fewer cut-offs, less rework, and cleaner installs. For dealers and stockists, the benefit is even bigger: you can stock components separately and build assemblies exactly the way your customers want, without gambling on the “right” wire length or pin style.
Instead of sitting on dead inventory because a preassembled pin and wire kit is the wrong configuration, you can keep more of what matters in raw form:
- Stock clips as the common connector
- Stock pins by type and application
- Stock wire by length and style
Then assemble on demand.
What this unlocks on the job
- Remove and reuse pre-tied wire without cutting
- Repurpose pins and clips when wire length or layout changes
- Build assemblies on the fly based on ceiling height, trade, and load needs
- Standardize one clip across a wide range of overhead fastening tasks
In short, Gated Clips turn a “one-and-done” wire hanger into a reusable, configurable system. Less waste, fewer headaches, and a cleaner way to keep crews moving and stockrooms stocked.
